It's designed for quick thoughts, temporary information, or drafting text. The key feature is its use of your browser's local storage, meaning your notes are saved directly on your computer and persist even if you close the tab or browser, as long as you use the same browser and don't clear its storage. This ensures privacy as your notes are not sent to any server. It's your personal digital scratchpad, always accessible.

Start Typing

Simply click into the large text area and begin typing. Your notes will be automatically saved to your browser's local storage as you type, typically after a short delay or when you pause.

Notes Persist

Close the tab or browser and reopen it later. Your previously typed notes should automatically load back into the notepad, as they are stored locally on your device for this specific browser.

Manage Your Notes

Use the 'Copy All Text' button to quickly copy your notes to the clipboard. The 'Clear Notepad' button will erase all content (use with caution!). You can also download your notes as a simple .txt file.

Privacy and Local Storage
